Ok i think we should all give Miss South Carolina a break. I mean she's a genius in disguise. She's now more popular than any other Miss USA for sure. 9 out of 20 most viewed videos of today on youtube is about her. For those of you who have not had your fair share of laughter. Here's the video complete with subtitles.
Yeah GP prelims is over!! Thought it was normal, except that the vocab words were damn difficult. I did Question 2, the one about family in decline or merely evolving. Hope i didn't screw it up.

Studying at Mos Burger was rather unproductive. Super squeezy and spent endless hours on brainless fun such as hangman, in which we don't comply to the conventional methods of guessing letters. We guess the word straight away!! Lousy Eugene gave really easy questions that were immediately guessed on the first try. Like screwdriver and giraffe. Duh!
Anyway, if anyone happened to overhear our mindless guessings they would have seriously thought we were retarded or that we have an extremely bad command of english or the inability to count the number of spaces. It was just hilarious and as if we were high on HANGMAN.
Grow up man!!

This picture should be dedicated to Kian Yong who is slacking his ass away at a chalet while we are slogging our asses away studying.

Went to watch Campus Superstar 2 !! We ended up reaching there late and had to sit on the stairs throughout the entire performance, but at least it was nice. Supported Keely and Benjamin but sadly neither won. Shawn is so young and he won mainly because he is cute. Actually I think it's rather poor thing for him to be put under such pressure from everyone at such a young age la.
Also it's so weird to have the contestants studying in the same school as you and everything's just as per normal. However when they're outside, everyone's like rushing to have their autograph or pictures taken with them. And it's funny how when one gets famous, they tend to avoid all the hype as much as possible.

In view of the upcoming General Paper prelims in less than 2 weeks time, here's something that might come in handy..
Make a Sentence
Children were called upon in a classroom to make sentences with words chosen by the teacher. The teacher smiled when Jack raised his hand to participate. She gave him the words 'defeat,' 'deduct,' 'defense,' and 'detail.' Jack stood seriously for a while with all eyes focused on him awaiting his reply: ''Defeat of deduct went over defense before detail!''
Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.
This pretty much sums up the moral of the movie. Just look around us and you'll see people from all walks of life that are from different backgrounds and social classes, but they are all doing equally well in life. This movie's really good and i daresay its well in the league of excellent animations such as Finding Nemo and the like. Not to mention that the rats are so darn cute the way they're personified.
There are definitely more funny moments in this than a certain rush hour 3...

Anyway, thanks to THR33 for the birthday treat at Fish & Co. It's now a tradition. The Patriot, their dish for National Day is pretty good, despite having the fish tinged very red due to the curry spices. Should go try it with their rice instead of chips too. Realised it's way better than those golden sticks of oil.
How do I say, i started reading this book with much apprehension after hearing many negative comments about it. How it's not as nice as tuesdays with morrie. I didn't think TWM was that fantastic a book actually. Anyhow, after reading F1MD i think it's actually the best out of his three books.
It's amazing how we always take our parents for granted. When they show their love for us, we are embarassed instead of being grateful. How we don't like to go out with our parents as its uncool. How we shun away from them in the presence of our peers. How we don't bother reciprocating their care and concern. Yet, they still love us. In their eyes we will always be their little boy/girl, in need of their unconditional and undying love, despite us almost being matured adults.
I don't want to regret it if my last words to my parents are in anger or spite. Time waits for no man and seriously, a lifetime is too short to squander. Don't neglect your parents nor take them for granted. You don't want to start treasuring them only after they're gone. Start today, it's not too late.
Went to meet THR33 for photo shooting plus rush hour 3 this afternoon at bugis. The movie was substandard! To think i was actually hoping for it to be as successful as its predecessors. It was not really funny, not really action packed. In fact there were so few funny moments that the credits at the end with the NGs made up the bulk of the laughs. Definitely a disappointment. Sadly.

Dinner at bussorah street and a stroll down haji lane was pretty interesting. The cult labels there and their boutiques are so cool. Should check out 3 and the other shop that has 3 cats lazing around the store. Gotta go pitchblack someday..
You simple can't afford to miss this movie. It's zi bian zi dao zi yan by Jay but that's not the main point. The plot's really really good and interesting. The twist mid-way was cool and made it nice and special. I don't want to spoil this movie one bit so i shall not say anymore here. Just go and watch it by hook or by crook. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat.
