Caught High School Musical at my grandma's and it was such a "feel great" movie. The finale where they sang Breaking Free made me smile. Now i realise what the song is really about - breaking free from the status quo and be truly yourself.

Ok this is like 2 weeks late but

Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix - 3.5/5 Stars





Many people said that this movie sucks as they changed alot of details from the books and totally missed out large segments of the book. The good thing for me is, i forgot everything about the book already. Which is actually a blessing in disguise as this movie turned out to be pretty good after all. Dolores Umbridge was portrayed so well that i really hated the actress. However i find the part when Sirius died abit sudden and it didn't feel sad at all. It happened in like 2 seconds? The kids also look way oversized now that they're all grown up. Especially Neville and Harry.

I thought this was a short slap-stick comedy, which it was for the first half of the movie. However, it took a turn halfway and morphed into a cliche'd romance movie which lasted 2 hours! Not that im saying it's a lousy movie, it's just not very funny and not very romantic. A mediocre concoction that undoubtedly felt rather draggy since we were watching the midnight show. Defintely not as good as what the trailer promised.

Yellowcard's new album Paper Walls seems to pale in comparison with their previous works. Or perhaps my expectations were too high cos i really loved their Ocean Avenue and Lights & Sounds albums.

My grandma and uncle are both in the hospital for diabetes and dengue fever respectively. I have a queasy feeling whenever i step into the wards at the Singapore General Hospital. It reminds me of the time when my grandpa was very ill with cancer, and i was visiting him on several occasions. I was quite young then but the memories weren't happy. It was a place of suffering and illness. Hope they get well soon.

Anyway, i changed the song on my blog. The chorus is so catchy and it got stuck in my head.

We all have been hearing reports that China produces fake/toxic goods such as eggs, toothpaste, milk powder, cough syrups and even blood. It's irresponsible of the manufacturers to put the lives of hundreds or even thousands in danger just because they want to save on production costs. Therefore, it's expected that foreign countries would rather be safe than sorry and ban the imports of potentially harmful China products right? I mean it's nobody else's fault that the "Made In China" products have gained such a bad reputation and is synonymous with sub-standard quality and counterfeit goods.

However, what is more appalling is that China is retaliating by banning foreign imports instead of correcting their own domestic problem - food safety control & regulations etc. This eye for an eye strategy really befuddles me as at the end of the day, it doesn't really solve the root of the problem does it?

Went to sentosa with the class yesterday. The turn out was bad with about 6 guys deciding not to come suddenly.

Ok fast forward. There were 5 guys and 4 girls and we left out bags at the beach and went to swim in the sea. Went we came back, the 4 girls' bags and everything inside was lost!! Qc's wallet was gone too but not his phone and bag. It's so weird that only the girls' bags got stolen and all the rest were pretty much left untouched.

Although it was partly our fault that we left the stuffs there without anyone looking after it on a crowded Saturday afternoon, it was so unlucky! Why us of all people!! The chances of recovering the stolen items are probably close to zero now i guess. I was damn lucky this time round and this shall be a reminder that in Singapore, low crime does not mean no crime. Public places are different from schools and we must get used to looking afer our belongings.

And screw those people that stole the stuffs.

Omg. It's surprising why someone would actually go blend a perfectly fine iphone. What's more surprising is that people are actually bidding on ebay for it. It's currently at US$570 for a blended iphone. Seriously what's wrong with the world.

Getting back of the results had never been a happy occasion since i got into JC. This time round it's even more demoralising because i studied harder than previous exams but still the results are the same!! Passed on the dot for maths even though i did tutorials this year! Why ain't i improving..

My parents are nagging at me to go for tuition and my classmates are all going for tuition and i wonder, is it ok to not have any? Will tuition seriously help?

7 more weeks left to prelims and i drastically need to pull up my socks and my grades as well. What to do...

Went for OCS visit yesterday and NS medical check-up today, effectively missing all the GP lessons this week. Seriously i haven't see my GP teacher for like close to 6 weeks or so.

Can't believe im going to NS in less than a year. A lvls will be less than 5 months. Prelims will be less than 2 months. Time really flies.

Went to Sentosa today and it was bloody crowded. Played the usual stuffs but this time round we saw 2 "crayfish/stingray/i dunno what is it called" mating!! Then have very sharp things at the end too. So it should be a stingray. Anyway, we were pretty wary of them cause nobody likes to be disturbed while having happytime. Then along came some ahbeng and ahlians and they used the stick to provoke them and later picked them up, separated them and threw them into the sea. like wtf.

Was seriously sunburnt today. You'll see a very chao ta me tomorrow. Went to Han's for dinner and to celebrate Xiao wen's and Chingz bdae. And while waiting for the cake and etc we were playing "What time is it Mr Wolf" at harbourfront la. And we even played for like 30 mins or so la. So embarassing when the security guard came but we continued anyway.

Im totally not prepared for school tomorrow. After 6 weeks of absence from lessons, it is going to suck. I don't wanna go back to school~
