oh man the holidays just fly by so fast. In a blink of an eye it's wednesday already. Let's see my to-do list for the hols

1) Study like a mad dog and do well in my common test 2 <-- Most Important

2) Enjoy my holidays since it's the holidays afterall. <-- Currently all that im doing.

3) Learn how to play the piano

4) Granado Espada <-- Totally new and unexpected possibility of an addiction.

Just so you know, point number 4 is this new MMORPG that sends out waves of advertisements through all forms of the mass media and hooks teenagers (like me) into playing it with it's new Multiple Character Mode and cool graphics.

Compare this to point number 1. Yeah you get the idea..

Went to Sentosa on Friday with ky eugene and evadne. Quite a pity that so many people could not make it but it was a fun day nevertheless. It so happened that the Beach Volleyball World tour or something is being held at sentosa too and there are alot of pro zhabor volleyballers there. We went to play in this hamster race competition and I won for myself a ripcurl goodie bag!

Pirates Of The Carribean 3 - 4.5/5 Stars








How do I say, this is just about the best movie i watched this year. I highly anticipated this show and thankfully it did live up to my expectations. And yes i feel that it's even nicer than Spidey3 in my opinion. Before i talk about the movie, i think that the Grand Cathay is simply a notch above the other cinemas. Their seats are comfortable and best of all, they even serve your food over whilst you are in the cinema. The baked rice i had for dinner was quite worth the price, considering it's under 5 bucks.


Ok, i admit i was abit confused about the plot at first as i couldn't recall how the movie ended in POTC2 and what each character's agenda was for getting onto the Black Pearl. But anyhow, i managed to understand it slowly, partially by reading the chinese subtitles too as their gibberish, heavily slanged piratey language was rather hard to comprehend. Actually i was surprised Chow Yun Fatt's english ain't that bad after all, but i don't get why Chinese actors always play the bad guy in Hollywood movies.


Throughout the length of the movie, yes it's about 2 hours 40 mins, there were many many parts where it's so lame that i cringed and had goosebumps. Seriously, you wouldn't expect so many of these lame/funny (depends on how you view it) stuffs in a blockbuster movie of the summer. However, i think that's what makes POTC so special, and people would wanna watch it even though the ^#!%$ straights times rated it 2/5 stars. It's how they mix comedy with action & adventure, with a hell lot of CGI effects that makes people love it.

Not to mention, there is the icing on the cake in the form of Keira Knightley. She is beautiful, pretty and has as much elegance and poise. Really really pretty. Go watch it for yourself.

And yes, i do hope that POTC3 would smash Spidey3's box office record =)

Sigh. After all this time, i feel like a sad case loser. I don't want to think about it, but i can't help it once my train of thoughts get started. What's wrong with me.

Oh man i just can't believe i stoned 9.5 hours of my life away. Run marshalling for dualthlon was extremely boring as all the participants have basic common sense, so they all knew which direction to run towards. Seriously with cones all around, who wouldn't. So i sat there and had a vigorous mental endurance test, while watching thousands of others have theirs, but both mentally and physically instead.

No doubt, many of the participants have commendable fighting spirits. Even though many have cramps on their thighs, injured their ankle or are just plain out of breath trailing way behind. All of them had the same goal in mind - To finish the race no matter how painful it's gonna be. Somehow, indirectly, their determination sort of encouraged me to endure the boringness.

Maybe, just maybe next time i'll go take part in one of these races. If people of all shapes and sizes managed to complete the race, why can't i right...

Blades Of Glory - 2.5/5 Stars





The starting was abit slow and it eventually built up to a totally expected finale. However, this being a slapstick comedy what else do we expect? This movie is also really really extremely corny/lame (especially the ending) that i totally lengdiao. Watch this only if you are desperate for some laughs before POTC3 comes out next wednesday!

My phone's camera is screwed! There was this humongous hornet in my room and after i killed it with baygon, i wanted to take a picture of it with my camera phone. The first picture wasn't perfect so as i tried to take a second picture, my camera spoilt! Just out of the blue with no apparent reason at all it crashed on me. What luck man, im speculating it must be the curse of the dead hornet. Now i got to use some faulty nokia 3300 that has messages dating back to year 2005.

Who would have thought that the CIP for dualthalon requires people to wake up at 4a.m. on a Sunday morning...

Ok, let me remind all of you that my life has been really boring these days.
my academic sucks. i studied for econs and chem review tests and im quite sure i failed both rather miserably.
i haven't been going out much this week. other than friday which was totally random but cool.
Hopefully there is full day tomorrow!!
as you can tell im not exactly in the mood to blog properly now.
oh yah. i want to change my blogskin too. it's been a million years old but i don't know how to. can't find any nice ones too.
i wanna learn how to make blog layouts. And also to play the piano.
ok this post is getting nowhere.

Uhh. Down with fever since last night. It was totally random and i don't even know why i had fever after i woke up from my afternoon nap yesterday. My throat was sore. my nose was blocked and my head felt like it weighed a tonne. soon after my temperature escalated as expected.

it's dam boring to be sick! spent my entire day sleeping. can't study at all even if i wanted to as my attention span became dam short and i get tired after 2 hours of waking up.

My mucles ache, my joints ache. Even my balls feel miserable. Ooops ok nvm.

Guess im off to sleep again.

Spiderman 3 - 4.25/5 Stars






caught spidey with THR33 today and it seems to be very popular. For example, there are time slots for the movie every half an hour from 10a.m. all the way to 3a.m. the next morning. How exaggerated is that. and yes almost all the slots are fully sold out when i reached at 12p.m. except for the late night ones. The movie did live up to it's hype. Shall not spoil the movie for those of you who have not caught it but if you don't intend to watch it - HOW COULD YOU!

I stupidly went from cineleisure to parkway to meet them, only to be told that we are going to ps to eat MFM which i just ate 2 days ago. Btw, i STILL think fish & co is much much much nicer than MFM. only their fries pale in comparison. This time round at mission pangseh: Plaza Sing, we succesfully managed to pangseh dickson cos he was ultra noob. sadly the game didnt last for long as it was getting late.





oh, POTC3, OCEANS13 & HP5 are coming soon!
