The morning university admission panel discussion was boring and i wasn't paying attention at all.
Not that i don't want to, but i simply couldn't keep my eyes from shutting and my brain drifted off somewhere far. I even drooled onto my bag, luckily nobody saw. haha.
Anyway, had this mini- sports day today after school. Went to PS to eat KFC with qichao samew kejun sharon and samantha. Then samew got to go for church while the rest of us went to play badminton. Finally got to play after a long time. luckily there was one time slot left at the last CC we called , which was at toapayoh. Surprisingly even the girls played not that bad, which got the game going quite well.
After that we stoned around for some time thinking of what to do before basketball with samew after his church. However, we got too bored and cannot maintain so we went to qichao's house to play tennis. We just finished warming up and it started to rain! Dam suay, so we migrated to play pool instead at his clubhouse.
After such a long absence from sports, it was really shiok to play the whole day. Devoid of worries momentarily.
Should have more of this when the holidays officially begin.

Woke up this morning from my parent's quarreling. They quarreled last night and shouted and screamed. They did quarreled again this morning till they woke me up. Heck they are quarreling again as im typing this.
Sometimes, i wonder how did they put up with each other for, 30 years? they can't even seem to communicate with each other for more than 5 minutes without blowing their top. Both of them don't bother listening. They are stubborn people. Neither of them accepts that the problem lies within themselves. they just keep blaming others. Hell they'd even drag me in sometimes for reasons totally unrelated to their bickering.
I truly envy the families that can just share their life and talk to each other like friends, and their parents would actually care to listen.

Yesterday was a long day, went to watch The Prestige at Marina Square and we saw millions of VJC students watching movies at golden village. The show isn't really that fantastic as i imagined it to be. yes, there were twists and turns mid-movie such that you will never ever be able to predict the ending and such. but somehow, it just isn't exciting enough i suppose. Also, i didnt see any deep meaning in the movie that will leave me lingering with thoughts. but overall its still a good movie. Spent alot of money too! ate at Changing Appetites and Billy Bombers and i suddenly realised my wallet got thinner.
After that, went to meet Qichao Andre Samew to go Orchard to buy stuff. We reached there at 9pm ? All the shops in Pacific Plaza got closed so we transmigrated to Far East Plaza. Qichao's perception of buying stuff is literally buying stuff. he took 5 minutes to buy a pair of jeans and he said that that was reasonable and he could have chiong-ed more clothes before FEP started closing.
After that we had quite a long debate outside Tangs. Andre Qichao and I wanna watch The Departed midnight movie but Samew couldnt catch it because his parents were too strict on him. Had some debate session after that and we all realised where to problem lies.
Time flies before the movie, which was at 1250a.m at cineleisure. Because Qichao and I are under-aged, we devised a supposedly fool-proof method to sneak into The Departed but we didnt expect that even though the dummy movie that we bought (Sinking of Japan -_-) was on the same level as The Departed, it was at different locations!
so Plan A got foiled.
Plan B was we sneak into a theatre that had just ended its movie and the people are exitting. we pretended that we lost our wallet so we walked agaisnt the flow of traffic into the theatre itself. we succeeded in doing that, but as we wanted to leave the theatre to go into the hallway to the correct theatre, some stupid personnel stopped us and didnt allow us into the hallway. we explained our cocked-up story of losing our wallet but i didnt think he bought it and he didnt allow us to get into the hallway. it would be too suspicious by now as he would be keeping an eye out for us.
Luckily, Plan C succeeded!!
Andre went into the correct theatre as he managed to buy a ticket for himself legally. he then came out by the exit at the front but he left the one-way door slightly ajar and he met us back at level 5. Qichao and I went in through that door that was slightly open and tried not to look freaking suspicious walking in from the exit door. Andre rejoined us again through the proper entrance and that is how we could have all watched the movie with a single ticket. could have saved us 6 bucks each but never mind...

i finally realised why my PW group sucks so much. we are fcking slack. on our way out of school and on the bus ride to Parkway to buy CD-rom to burn our written report (this was during 11a.m.), we were thinking of what we could do if we pon the physics practical and the maths tutorial. yeah the thought itself was bad enough, with people in our class already
started doing probability tutorial (i think i lost my worksheet btw). we even continued fantasizing about how much better it would be if we went to town to watch The Departed instead, and edit our WR on the bus there and burn the CD while we were watching the movie. then kyna still has time to come back for her TSD! but of course we were good boys and girls after all. we just finished up everything at the PCC at parkway, after that wank went home to sleep while the others came my house to sleep. I continued sleeping as i have to come home after 1 period of maths to go for CCA while pearly and kyna went back for maths.
you see, we have no assertive powerhouse in our group. Every other group has their "main" character pushing the group on and actually have a sense of urgency in doing PW. my group on the other hand, dreads it. no one feels like touching it until the very last minute, where if we still remain stagnant we would probably get an F. that's when my group works the best, under immense pressure and rushing agaisnt time. hell, that's the
ONLY time my group works actually.

today, was a fcking long day.
went to school at 630a.m. to chiong PW. pw sucks
got back the 16 pf thing and i realised im a realistic person whose future occupation should be a fitness instructor, atheltic trainer or an athletic instructor. I think it's only true to a small extent, all these personality tests. i mean, how much can you tell about a person just by asking a hundred Multiple Choice Questions.
After that the results came pouring in.
i needed one more mark to pass overall maths so i had to beg for it. the first two teachers i asked weren't so kind and promptly rejected my plea. but Mr Ho Wei Kang, usually the strict one, actually helped me search for marks to add. Even though he jokingly reprimanded me for my hair and attire, he is still a damn nice teacher i think. and yeah the person the lecturer was talking about at the end was ME. hope they won't remember who i am..
After that was Chemistry during practical. played around with rubber gloves filled with water and boy were they fun. heh. anyway, im most glad with my chemistry marks. studied for a day and a half at gelare with samew and qc and in the end it got higher than my physics, which i practised dam hard for. i did all 3 past year promos papers for physics man!
Anyway, here's a summary of my Overall Marks for JC1.
Maths - 44.6 (E)
Physics - 52.4 (E)
Economics - 53 (E)
Chemistry - 55.4 (D)
yes i've improved much compared to mid-years! so im quite satisfied with myself.
pw sucks
we did PW after school from 5pm all the way till 930pm.
this is due to stupid format problems from microsoft works to word and problems like the content page numbers cant be aligned and etc. after that, we can't find a photocopying shop that is still open and prints from CD and don't charge 50 bucks for our written report. We decided to call samantha to help us print the colour copy and of all problems, she doesnt have white paper! pearly promised to treat her pariss and wine and a big bear o.0
pw sucks
our group is SIBEI SUAY. in the end reached home at 11p.m. and we have yet to bind the written report.
I'm really glad to say that after this written report, the load on my shoulders is definitely much lighter. Although we definitely won't do well for it, at least its OVER!
To my group members: let's not do such last minute stuff again cos our group name is inauspicious and it will come back to haunt and screw us.

the open house today was booring. went to school at 9a.m. and only left at around 4 plus.
seriously, i think that this year's open house wasn't a success at all. very little people came, and all those that did were mostly PRCs. maybe its because about 6 other JCs have their open house today too?
the only "high" or zi high event that happened was the mass dance! saw a couple of my classmates dancing so we just joined in and anyhow siao siao danced along. the dancers on top of the link bridge was cool, the concept of dancing there was cool i meant.
I guess the other reason why there are so few people coming for the open house is because Dunman High is IP-ing this year's sec 4 batch, and also VS peeps won't bother coming to VJ open house too as that will naturally be their first choice, so might as well go to other choices right? haha.
Anyway, 2 more days left to finish up the
written report. Let's just say that my group is by far the worst and slackest group. don't argue with me. it's undeniable. we're SCREWED. yeah that happens to be our group name too..

Hey, i've shifted BACK to blogspot since blogdrive have been giving me some problems. some people cant view my most recent posts without refreshing, and the skins and tagboard there really suck.
Gotta say thanks to Janice for helping me with the layout and the tagboard =)
Hopefully with this new blog i'll remember and make myself update more often.
Anyway, today's farewell assembly was boring. regretted going for it and the s-cube seminar too. i had much difficulty staying awake. Went to chill with the HnF peeps after that, and had lunch at sumo house followed by a chilled game of street soccer. played under the scorching sun and the ground burnt my feet till i had numerous blisters.. i dont understand why we can only set up the booths for the Open house after 4 p.m.. went back to school to finish up the Open house prep and we completed the task in a matter of minutes. and because of this i couldn't catch World Trade Centre with my classmates.i cant wait for written report to be over and oral presentation to end. that's when i can truly enjoy the holidays!
